Context :

This game have been developed for the Broken rules jam as a first attempts to participate to a game jam alone.

Description :

This game is a (very simplified) minecraft-like 3D game (using Godot as engine). Where you need to gather minerals for merchants.

The rule it breaks :

In Minecraft (or any sandbox/survival game), the player expect to be able to carry a LOT of material (4x9x64 = 2304 cubic meters in Minecraft inventory).

So the question is what what if the player can only carry one block at a time ?

And how to make the game funny (or at least not too painful) with this constraint ?

My answer was having an economy and bots ready to help you. (I also wanted to have vehicles, but no time for it...)

Controls :
Full screen is advised, mouse can drift otherwise

  • wasd / arrows : move
  • space : jump
  •  left click : interact - capture mouse
  • escape : free mouse from the gam

Disclaimers :

The game is slow to load, but should  be ok while playing (hopefully).

No polish have been made here, sorry ! ><
